WP Engine Cache Groups

We’re HUGE fans of WP Engine here at Monkey Media. WPE is hands down the best WordPress host we’ve worked with. A lot of WPE’s success is due to the fact that they serve pages very, very quickly by aggressively applying page caching to your WordPress site. This means that 90% of the hits to your site never even activate WordPress or even PHP for that matter.

Luckily for developers, WPE information about which type of page cache is being served in the Apache and NGINX headers. So we wrote a WordPress plugin to wrap these headers in some functions you can use in WordPress itself. Get the full details of how this works on the GitHub page.
